Collision repair is about people helping people

who find themselves in a difficult situation, often through no fault of their own. It’s not just about putting cars back together — it’s about making people whole again. The collision repair community — including body shops, paint, parts, equipment and insurance companies — has been doing this for a long time.

And sometimes, the collision industry goes above and beyond the call of duty to make things a little bit brighter for those less fortunate. This section honors the shops and suppliers that take that additional step.

Kadel's Auto Body Raises $21,000 for Make-A-Wish

Oregon based Kadel's Auto Body raised $21,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon through its 19th Annual Golf Classic. Over 150 golfers and sponsors turned out on June 12 to support the organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Golfers attended dinner afterward where Laila Umpleby, CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, thanked the participants and then spoke about the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Laila concluded her presentation by sharing the story of Arian, a 13 year old boy who's wish to attend the French Open was adopted using the funds raised at the Kadel's Golf Classic in 2011.

Kadels operates 16 locations in Oregon, Washington and Idaho
