The history of the collision repair industry, most specifically, the many companies that support the industry, have a long and interestingly varied past.

In response, no doubt, to the growing number of pedestrian accidents, inventor John O’ Leary invents a device that attaches to a car and scoops-up pedestrians into a net upon impact.  This concept may seem far-fetched.  However, the May 25, 2012 issue of Collision Week magazine describes a new pedestrian airbag fitted to the front of a Volvo V40.
