The Charles Miller Automobile Supply Company publishes its 5th catalog of auto parts and accessories. Among the items in this edition is the “World’s Best Buffalo Robe” for $10, a must for driving an open touring car in cold weather. Other items include driving goggles for $3, leather automobile coats for $8, leather pants for $6, gauntlet driving gloves for $2 and leather driving cap, also $2. Unlike similar catalogs of 50 years later, there was no mention of fiberglass auto body repair kits, touch-up paint – or fuzzy dice.
